Vehicle records bill clears state House committee
COLUMBUS — The House Insurance Committee on Wednesday, May 6, approved legislation removing a car owner’s home address from the owner’s vehicle registration form.
The legislation was inspired by the January shooting death of Jenny Nelson of Harrison Twp. in her home.
Montgomery County Sheriff Phil Plummer said Charlie W. Myers got Nelson’s address from the registration form in the car he stole while she and her husband were in Columbus.
Myers, of Columbus, is awaiting trial in Montgomery County and could face the death penalty if he is convicted as charged.

Ex-Ohio official denies approving plumber searches
COLUMBUS — Former Ohio official Helen Jones-Kelley denies authorizing state searches about the man known as “Joe The Plumber” after he questioned Barack Obama on the 2008 campaign trail.
In response to a federal lawsuit filed in March, the former Ohio Department of Job and Family Services director also denies that state officials called a meeting to discuss Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher.
The Toledo-area plumber became known nationally after GOP candidate John McCain referred to him in a presidential debate.
Wurzelbacher accuses Jones-Kelley of violating his rights to privacy and freedom of expression. She filed her response to his charges Friday.
Jones-Kelley, who admits donating $2,500 to the Obama campaign but denies providing additional help, resigned in December.

Get jacked like a gymnast! Build power and an Olympic physique with the "muscle up"
Men’s Fitness, Dec, 2009 by Robert Belley
OK, you’ve mastered the pullup. But can you do a muscle-up? The move is an explosive combination of a pullup and a dip that blasts lats, arms, forearms, and core. Gymnasts do it to lift their bodies over the rings or high bar, but you can do it to get an awesome upper-body workout in fewer than 10 minutes and look like an all-around badass in the process. Using your own body weight is a surefire path to massive muscles. (Trust us–the guys who think doing lat pulldowns makes for a good back workout will never be able to hang with you.)
HOW TO DO IT
STEP 1
Hang from a pullup bar and then swing your body forward a bit, pulling your shoulder blades together so your head and chest move forward. Swing your legs behind you as your chest comes forward

Centrify Unveils Indentify/Access Management For Windows Server
UNIX Update, Dec 1, 2009
Centrify Corporation, Sunnyvale, Calif., a provider of Microsoft Active Directory-based identity and access management and auditing solutions for non-Microsoft platforms, has announced that its Centrify Suite is the first identity and access management solution to earn Windows Server 2008 R2 certification. The Centrify Suite allows IT administrators to integrate an enterprise’s Linux, UNIX and Mac systems within Active Directory to provide centralized access control, privilege management and auditing of all non-Windows platforms.
“We are pleased that the Centrify Suite is certified for Windows Server 2008 R2 to enable proven interoperability between the Windows platform and non-Microsoft systems and applications,” said Frank Cabri, vice president of marketing, Centrify Corporation. “By extending Active Directory’s support for Kerberos, LDAP, and Group Policy to other platforms, the Microsoft and Centrify solutions help organizations increase the security, compliance and manageability of their systems.”
The Centrify Suite is an integrated family of Active Directory-based auditing, access control and identity management solutions that secure cross-platform environments and strengthen regulatory compliance. Centrify DirectControl addresses the need to secure both physical and virtual environments by effectively turning a non-Microsoft system or hypervisor into an Active Directory client, enabling administrators to secure that system using the same authentication and Group Policy services currently deployed for their Windows systems, as well as adding granular access control through its patent-pending Zone technology. Centrify DirectAuthorize centrally manages and enforces role-based entitlements for fine-grained control of user access and privileges on UNIX and Linux systems as well as a wide range of hypervisors. Centrify DirectAudit delivers auditing, logging and real-time monitoring of user activity on non-Microsoft systems. Built on a common architecture, the integrated Centrify Suite of solutions helps to improve IT efficiency, strengthen regulatory compliance initiatives, and centrally secure a heterogeneous computing environment.
Windows Server 2008 R2 software certification consists of approximately 100 test cases that independently confirm an application’s compliance with best practices for compatibility, security, reliability and availability on the new platform, while ensuring the software performs in a 64-bit environment. The certification identifies top-performing technologies that are ready to deploy in mission-critical environments. Details about Windows Server 2008 R2 software certification, its test framework and ISV benefits are available at www.microsoft.com/windowsserver/isv
